Please turn on by default system tab loging, I met 4 times this week problem when system logs were needed, we are testers and a lot of times this log helps to solve problems.

Remove Duel Pints from game, they are totaly OOC and pointless. Best duelers mostly have lowest DP :)

Now to evaluation code:
You can evaluate your enemy trough natural intuition spell, which shows his stats.
You can look into his description and get some kind of evaluation [depending on your int] but again it's made only from stats.
You can say how strong your enemy is from duelpoints, as they count all skills.

So... please code of evaluation from duelpoints use in description evaluation, why? Cause it's more realistic and you don't need two ways how to find one thing.

oh and one small flame : Duels are ment to be IC, they are in game by purpose, only thing what makes duels bad is that weapons are unbalanced... so Talad please repeat your words about later balancing weapons....

Please explain, I test bugs a lot and I've never, ever needed the system log.

I don't understand the rest, you want Duel Points removed from the game but at the same time you want to evaluate people based on their duel points?

Everything will be rebalanced at some point in the future, and again after that, and again, and again, etc.

systemlogs:
People lost stuff cause of sack bug and they can't say who took what but they are annoying people with wipe of lost items.
When you are fighting there is sometimes need to check logs (they already helped to solve few problems).
When you are doing quests, it is usable too...

I'm against DP because it's pointless, but it's evaluation code can be used elsewhere where it would have some meaning.

I agree that duelpoints are totally useless. They only animate players who have a huge amount of negative duelpoints to go around challenging newbs to get them up again. I have witnessed several persons do this.
Second, I wouldn't agree with the duelpoints included in the evaluation. First of all, you can roughly calculate your enemies skills by taking a look at his stats by "Nature Intuition" in combination with the evaluation. Knowing how much duelpoints your enemy gives you could turn that into a real problem.

It's not ment to give exact number, just same as it used to be, but evaluate all skills. For now the character evaluation evaluates only stats...

i would have to disagre with donari just cause you have high stat points dont make you a good deulist. i have seen many ppl with high stats that couldnt deul there way out of a paper bag i have also seen other with low stats that would give real probs even for vets. nature intuition should also include lvls of weapon styles and armour classes.
I am afraid of fighting. I am afriad of being beaten and losing. But i am more afraid of surviving as a cripple than dying in fight.However. I always try to find a new strong enamy.

I've been around off and on for 2 years, and never once seen any significant rebalancing of combat... and if there was it usually made things do MORE damage instead of less. tbh I think it's rather simple, just reduce all weapons slash to .1 of it's original value.  If you'd like to send me the weapon data file and point out to me the value types that needed to be changed I'd be happy to go through it for you and change them all :)

Uh... don't forget how death doesn't mean much right now, and the whole issue of people moving while in combat...

The high slash weapons weren't removed.  Some of the super super high slash weapons were removed - ones with slash over 300 etcetera.  But 10 is the new 50.

The thing is, silverweave weapons are still bugged, and I'm not sure that iron weapons are supposed to be so powerful either.

Hatchets are still overpowered.

Claymores are still useless.
