Descriptions should just be 'what you see', If I see huge backstories in descriptions I don't bother reading them. Your hardly going to know there full history by a breif look at them. But, I must admit even some sort of 'history' is better than leaving them default. 90% of peoples descriptions are default, it's a shame really.
