help fix it by reporting accurately the problems

i also can\'t get it to work :)

but remember, this is a test release. for testing. so the best way we can help them produce a solid release is to report as accurately as possible the problems we\'re having, our computer system environment, and what we\'ve done to try to change this. the more output from the program we give the developers, the better they\'ll be able to fix bugs.

zumar if u read the forum carefully there are alredy more then 1 post related to this problem.....

so please read them..
the problem has already been reported on the sourceforge page... it\'s becouse of a sort of memory leak problem or something similar... so the only way you have is to wait for a fix to come out :)

I\'m sorry but I can\'t find where the topic is.

I have 256Mo but planeshift had succeded in sucking ALL my memory. I coudln\'t do anything else than rebooting, I was getting memory lack errors until then.

I know windows is a memory sucker, but I can see that many ones could test the client.  So, how did they manage to get PS working on their PC? Are they all dev who use the Linux version or something like that? What is the solution until that fix?

I don\'t understand what\'s up with me and PS. Here\'s my setup:

Computer Brand: Dell
OS: Windows 98 Second Edition
Processor: Pentium III
RAM: 255 megabytes
Virtual Memory: 32-bit
Video Card: Whatever came with the computer when it was purchased

Not much to boast about. Yet, I am having almost no difficulties running PS. I have the occasional drop-off and the to-be-expected lag, but nothing near any of the problems I see other people with more gaming-compatible systems. What is up with that?
