Almost returned.
« on: April 16, 2007, 05:23:18 am »
I came so close to returning to the game. This close. *Puts fingers together*

But it doesn't work. Too much:

L... ... ... ... ...a... ... ... ... ...g.

And freezing. Gotta love the freezing.

My next computer'll be able to handle it, I'm sure. I'll be back. This game's too great to leave forever.

Just a little sidenote ... lag has reared its ugly head for a bunch of us this past weekend.

Yeah. My computer just can't handle the awesomeness of the current Planeshift.

No comments...  :whistling:

Perhaps Neverwinter Nights then? Or can't your PC handle it too? Then we are left with

Fallout 2
Baldur's Gate 1 & 2
Planescape Torment

Too bad none of these have multiplayer support  :(

P.S.: At least here we don't see people typing "/shout laaaaaaagggggggggggggggggggggggggggg" ;)

NWN has much higher requirements than PS :)

Which of those are completely free to play?

Does it really?  I thought it was significantly less, although neither have any trouble running on the sheer awesomeness of an almost new intel mac (few months old, not entirely true:  had to turn off some graphics things in Planeshift, so I do get little rgb planes popping up every once in a while, but no other significant problems anywhere).  Maybe it was that it was a finished product so much sooner (since it was commercial).

None, as far as I can tell.

Now that I look, it doesn't. :) It's about the same for the minimum settings (although PS doesn't really have much in the way of options like NWN does).
