proficiency points
« on: May 21, 2007, 01:55:26 pm »
Hello,
forgive me if I'm repeating the question, but I couldn't find it.
I have started playing yesterday and I've spent about 3 hours playing. I started the game by fighting some rats and than rogues (as it was advised) and gained some pp and money. I have already trained a bit (I have 6 points in sword), still I have about 300 pp's left and no money to train. So I'm wondering if it is the common property of the game or some kind of bug.
Thanks in advance.

well there is more to do then just hunt the critters.

but, it is a known and correct behaviour of the system.
may laanx frighten the shadow from my path.
hardly because the shadow built the lexx.
the shadow will frighten laanx from my path.

A lot of people put points into mining and mine gold for a while because starting out you are not strong enough to fight the npc's that give the valuable loot. After you get quite proficient you still cannot loot enough to pay your training efficiently so many have taken to learning enough metallurgy to smelt gold and that increases the gold's value considerably.
