Updater?
« on: March 10, 2003, 05:06:54 pm »
Do you need to run the updater to play if you just downloaded the newest version? Everytime i run the updater i get a DLL error saying i could find such and such file. So please respond asap.

YOU NEED to read the README FIRST! thread before posting a thread like this.

Actually, you don\'t need to run the updater right now. It had the same error for me, but I wouldn\'t worry about it too much for now. If it still happens after there actually is an update, then you should look into getting the file that it says is missing.

I noticed the same thing... kind of strange that the updater needs the file (even though it just opens a dos prompt window), and it goes and downloads the file anyway. ?(
