split from http://hydlaa.com/smf/index.php?topic=24702.0 as ther was no rason to necro such an old thread just for the following -- neko

Character movement is THE MOST important thing in game. I suggest to implement Lineage2 type mvement. Click to move. I had found similar key-active one in game, but it works only if u move forward (beacuse of horrible low character turning speed, i think).

PS. And keep up good work!

PS already has the ability for players to move to a spot upon a click of the mouse.  you just have to set it in your options.

Yes, moves to the spot in angle ~120deg in front of char correctly, but thats all.
Im trying to move my char by pointing behing his back. Nearly impossible. Char is trying to turn around but fails. More: after a couple of 10nths of key clicks , finally suceeds to turn around, but it follows some kind of circle path and final spot is far away from desired destination  (wide turn diameter, just like in cars).

My suggesion is to increase turn rate or wirite new script for this, because turning around in "follow cursor" mode should be almost immediate.
