Application crashes during world launch.

Steps taken:

I have uninstalled and re-installed PS. I continue to get the same error.

Application worked fine until now. I didn't have a problem until rebooting for a Firefox update. Are the two events related?

by at "launch" you mean once you double clicked on the psclient ? or once you try to log in? clarify this for me please

I have the same problem. It crashes at launch, very shortly after creating a large black window (I have it set on fullscreen). I saved a dump, but I can't paste it to the forum because of the characters it contains.

Hello

if you all three can make another character and see if you can log in. if you can, then contact a Game Master (do /who game to see who's gm is online => see at system tab) and ask him to move your character somewhere else. (Death Realm by default)

im quite sure your problem comes from your localization in the world.
Edit: im now totally sure of that fact

I found a solution to the problem i'm not sure what it is exactally but this is what you do:

go into your planeshift folder (where ever it's installed too)
Delete the version.dat file
Run your updater

This fixed the problem for me hope it helps everyone else!
