Video Card Poll
« on: March 16, 2003, 05:02:47 am »
As I will hopefully be getting a new video card soon (yay!), I wanted to conduct a poll:

What cards do you use or recommend, based on both performance and compatibility?

(keep in mind I won\'t be buying a high-end card like an all-in-wonder)

I\'m running a GeForc3 card and that\'s good enough, If that\'s too high end for you....well which OS are you using ? For linux I can recommend the voodoo series but it should be a voodoo 4 or 5 with at least 32MB of memory.

Myself I like the Nvidia Chip based cards, since they were the first providing 3D drivers for linux with their products.
If I were you I\'d wait a few months before buying a new vid-card, since most companies are going to release their new products after CeBit and prices for older chips will decrease dramatically...
