Dajojis "Icarus"-event

Maybe the wrong place, nor I dont assume this thread will be a long one.

I really did like Dajojis event tonight:
Besides the end of it turned out to be surprising, and the reward was either nice as well as original. The way he handled the whole thing was sort of guaranteeing it to be rp'ed, as one main influence I consider that no GM-label was involved. Also, it wasnt overloaded by a huge crowd causing confusion in main-tab.
And so it turned out to be: Was a huge fun!

Sidenote: That little rp was sort of perfectly timed to drive on my and befriended ones personal roleplay.

Keep it up GMs, and dont hesitate to set up those little event for a small number of players!

Excellent. Quite excellent! I have only witnessed one event and it was the most horrible OOC thing I have ever laid eyes on. All sorts of people-people that wouldn't even look if a player asked for help-gathered to run around fetching things for some random person because of that GM-label and the promise of reward. I hope that this is the way it will be done in future.

Well, i was there too, and i totally agree, it was a very fun event 

One thing i particularly like was the fact that the object used in the event were not showed in the inventory, but were totally roleplayed. (i.e : "NPC gives Player A a potion of enkiness", but player A does not get some kind of new potion in his inventory, however if player A RP to drink the potion : "Player A looks suspiciously at the potion, then drinks it", at that moment, something will happen)
That's how it happened in this event, and i liked it

For that group of players perhaps, but maybe others will have the opportunity to experience it in a few weeks or a couple of months... maybe
