Help with Glyph Research

I know how you research a glyph in order to get a spell. What I need to know is, after you have purified the glyph, can you keep clicking reseearch until you learn a spell from the glyph, or once you click research once, that's it. Can someone tell me what is right? Thanks.

You won't always learn the spell on the first time. Just be careful, you can kill yourself by researching spells

Some spells are above your ability, and others you're not quite guessing right, and yet others don't exist. so it's really up to your character how often to try

How many spells are there at the moment. Is there a set number per type of glyph, like 1 spell per glyph or is there more then one per glyph. Also how many spells can you make from 1 glyph, can you get many spells or do you need 1 spell per 1 glyph. One last thing, in order to get a spell easy learned, is it best to train that spell type first and can you mix spells or mix glyphs to make new spells.

Every glyph available in the game is used in at least one spell. However, some of those glyphs are only used in combination with others and you might research no spell from that glyph until you have the other ones.

Say you have Glyphs X and Y.

One spell uses Glyph X alone, so you learn that one.
Glyph Y however might have two spells: one that needs Y+Z, and the other that needs W+X+Y. So until you get W or Z, Y doesn't give you anything. Does that answer your question?

NO, I think you made me more confused. If I am right, you are saying that after I have learned the first spell per glyph, then I can combine a couple to learn a new spell and add more types of glyphs to learn more spells.

What Jeraphon was saying is that every glyph has a use. But not every glyph will give you a spell on it's own. Some glyphs need to be combined with others before they create a spell. The ones that can be bought from the store all work without needing other glyphs though.

OK, so I got the 6 glyphs from the magic shop and got a spell from each of them. Now how do I get other glyphs. Is there someone else who sells them and if so then who. Thanks for your help. Also how many glyphs are there approx. I already have the common 6, how many others could there be, just so I know.

most glyphs come from quests, and you will find no public list of them.
