Warriors & Warlocks Alliance Tournament II

A dwarf walks through the Hydlaa Plaza to Harnquist's forge building. He talks shortly to Harnquist and asks for allowance to nail two signs to the side of the building. After Harnquists agrees he nails up a sign on the side of the building. He takes a crate, stands on it and nails another sign in appropiate height for the tall ones reading the same as the first one.

The Way of the Hammer Presents another Warriors & Warlocks Alliance Tournament

You and your ally can test your strengths, knowledge and tactics against Yliakum's finest warriors and warlocks.

This ancient tournament allows the strongest warriors to team with the wisest mages and fight for survival and claim the title of Warriors & Warlocks Alliance Champions.

Teams must include one dedicated Warrior and one dedicated Warlock(mage), the last member standing wins the fight for his team. The Warriors must kill the opposing warrior before attacking the opposing Warlock.  Anyone can attack any one from the opposing team!  Warlocks are allowed to use any form of magic, including healing spells or protective spells on himself or his warrior.

  • Can you and your ally work together to overcome your foes?
  • Can tactics, knowledge and strengths defeat the finest warriors?
  • Can you and your ally overcome the powerful warlocks knowledge of ways?

To be held Saturday 16th, 1900gmt.

FREE ENTRY FOR SPECTATORS


Eight teams can buy an ticket for participating in an open auction. The entry fees will be used as prizes.
The eight auctions will take place on the plaza from 8th to 15th at 1900 gmt each day.
Prizes:
  • 1st price 50% of entry fees.
  • 2nd price 25% of entry fees.
  • 3rd price 12.5% of entry fees.
12.5% of the entry fees will go to the way of the hammer.

Rules:

  • Teams MUST include one warrior and one warlock
  • The match area must not be left
  • Anyone may attack any one at any time
  • Warlocks/Mages may attack any opponent at any time or heal/protect his/her warrior
  • Warlocks must wear/hold items to prevent hand attacks(shields prefered)
  • Warriors may only use weapons
  • Warriors are NOT allowed use of magic
  • Any weapons are allowed
  • No Potions allowed except mana potions [ best is clear your inventory to prevent using them accidently ]
  • [ Before each match a relog in front of the audience has to be done to clear the magic status (no unlimited mana due to sleep glyph or similar oddities). The match has to be started with a clean status. That means no spells until the match begins!]

Three tickets have been sold so far.

The first one went for 650 circles, the second for 200 circles and the third for 500 circles. That makes a price for the first place of 675 circles with only 3 tickets sold so far!

Find a team mate, get your circles prepared, buy a ticket, win the tournament and get rich and famous!

The ticket for today did not reach an appropiate amount of tria. It will be auctioned on saturday the 16th. To make the participation in this tournament more intresting a WATER GLYPH will be also part of the prize for the first place. This glyph is really rare!

So will you allow the use of bugged spells like Relaxing Sleep? The fact that lots of people used relaxing sleep/dweomer transfusion to exploit and get 150 CW is certainly the reason i'm boycotting this tournament.

Relaxing sleep has been disabled. The point why I dont forbid such spells is the following:

If we say spells u,v, and w are allowed and x,y and z are forbidden would make the task of a referee really hard and some spells have no clear destinctable visuall effect so we would never be able to track down violators.

All contestors have to relog and aren't allowed to cast any spell until the match begins. And to exploit spells like relaxing sleep it takes a lot of time. For relaxing sleep for example you have to cast and to wait for it to wear of to get the desired stacking effect - a lot of time for the other team to kill you. I tried out those bugged spells I know to see if they are exploitable during the tournament. And all exploits take too much time imho. If the opposing team is not able to kill the exploiting team in that long time they deserve to loose the match. Summon missile/energy arrow are not bugged and mana pots are allowed - so the matches should not take that long that you can cast the relaxing sleep often enough to have a real advantage.

Anyhow, as it seems some spells got disabled this morning so relaxing sleep for example isn't that big problem.

Yes, many people exploited dweomer tranfusion/ relaxing sleep to level CW. I reported that bug months ago - there is not much more I can do.

The fifth ticket went for 180 circles. That makes the pot 1530 circles. The first prize now is 765 circles + a water glpyh. Don't miss this great opportunity and get a ticket to the Warlocks and Warriors II.

The sixth ticket was sold for a sum of 110 circles. That makes the first price 820 circles  and a water glpyh.

The seventh ticket was sold for 125 circles. Additionally I am glad to announce that Elemental Light is sponsoring the Warriors and Warlocks with 200 circles. Bellerophon added a scorched broad sword to the first prize. That makes the first prize containing:
  • 982 and a half circle
  • a water glyph
  • a scorched broad sword

Warriors and Warlocks II is organized by the way f the hammer and sponsored by Elemental Light. Buy from Ulfer "the Ulfernaut" Knalgan or Bellerephon Widowmaker as they offer greatest craftings and rare items for reasonable prices.

Ok, sad news. As you all might have realized , laanx was not avail today and W&W II wasn't held. We have two options now. I payback all tria for the tickets and we go for another try from scratch or I postpone it in the hope every one can attend to a new date. What are your opionions? Shall we go from scratch?

First, I think we should try a postpone. If that doesn't work, we start from scratch.

As the first byuers of tickets demand their tria back I will go for a total restart from scratch. Bring back your tickets and get your tria back.
