Character movement
« on: February 28, 2008, 02:43:32 pm »
Hi! I am a new player, probably no one knows my character yet, as I am trapped on the tutorial  (I can alredy hear people shouting "noob" ;D).

Anyway, I chose to make a male Enkidukai and I think he looks to humanized, running on two "feet", I would like to alter the way he runs, making him run on his four paws, like the cats we see on the Discovery Channel.

How can I alter that? Is there a script that defines how the character moves?

right now this is not possible unless you find a hack to do so, and you would only be able to see it on your screen. so in short no this cant be done at all by anyone not on the dev team with access to the models and a change like this will not get ingame as enki dont walk on all 4's.

Why? He's not a cat. If you look closely, their arms are fundamentally different from their legs. Heck, they have hands (even though they refer to them as paws.) If he used all four appendages for movement it would look as awkward as if a human did it.
