I used PPs on learning things and when server went down I was reset outside Hydlaa, things Id learnt were "unlearnt but PPs still gone. Hmm, not happy 28 PPs lost!
Yes it seems a tragic loss, I would give you some of mine but they don't appear to be tradable, I have over 6,000 pp. It does seem to be a balance issue, PP are so hard to come by at the beginners level that it becomes a burden just to gather enough to advance another level, but once past a certain level gathering pp becomes so easy it is a trivial excercise, so keep going and one day you will find yourself wondering why you were ever concerned over the loss of 28pp.
I suspect there was a small rollback when the game crashed to fix a database problem and siince the two things are probably recorded in seperate databases they weren't kept the same. But I can assure you this is not a comon occurance, probably more likely just now because of the release of Steel Blue, bt it has never happened to me once while I have been playing.
