psclient.exe has stopped working

Every time I try to start the psclient or the ps-updater the computer says its not working. I've reinstalled, deleted all of the old PS files and reinstalled again . I have no ideal whats wrong so I need help!. P.S. My computer's a VISTA

I'm having the same issue, but I can get on the previous version. 

I have Vista as well. I get psclient.exe has stopped working. Windows is finding a solution to the problem.

For Vista:

1) Install.

2) Run the updater as administrator. [Right click on the program link and choose Run as Administrator]

3) Run the game like normal.

The initial install needs "Run as Administrator" to work or the game will crash. If you run the updater as admin once the update it downloads fixes the permission issues.

Give it a try and let us know if works or does not work.

Can you verify that you've tried running both using "Run as Administrator" ?
