The Charmflower                                       Issue 1
Thank you for purchasing the first edition of The Charmflower, the place for news, gossip and all the
latest events happing in Hydlaa, Ojaveda and Gugrontid. Once again thank you and happy reading.

Ojaveda Market Big Success
This Sunday the crafters, writers and sales people met at Ojaveda’s
market and set up on the stalls and stands that are so often empty
making a refreshing change. There were stalls from The Way of the
Hammer, The Woiperdinger plus independent businesses such as
Duvek’s Weapon Sales and The Khazadi Bookshop, many other
salespeople were present making the small town awash with colour
and activety.
When I asked Rheos, member of The Way of the Hammer and
weapon maker said that it was nice to see some activety in the
town but couldn’t comment on how his business was going as he
hadn’t had his stall set up for long, he did mention that he would
be present at any future events, as will most of the other stalls.
In all the market was an enjoyable and successful event that we
hope will continue and flourish in coming times.

Guild Interview
Each issue we will do an interview with one of the varied guilds of Yliakum this week I
had the pleasure of talking with to the leader of The Waddling Yulbars who has asked
that their name be kept anonymous, after taking me to their top secret hideout.

Waari Meagarren: What made you start your club?

Waddling Yulbars Leader: Well one day it was raining see, me and my brother were in the house... very bored... so Jhona said why don't we make a club? We thought we could get all the kids in Hydlaa to join, and then we'd have loads more fun! Even on rainy days!

WM:  So when was it when you formed the club?

WYL: Quite a while back... probably.. umm.. two months ago.

WM: So you’re still having fun then, what do you do to have fun?

WYL: Loads!, We play hide and seek; we go on outings... we were in Oja yesterday! Mister Irunor took us. And we sometimes go to the lake to swim and play games... I pretended to be a sea monster! One member was the magician king, one was the princess and erm Oh yeah, my brother was the ... hero.

WM: Will you have to leave the club when you get to old and if you do, what will you do for a living?

WYL: I'm never going to get old! Well... not in my mind anyway, I won't ever leave the club. Oh and I want to be a 'splorer one day!

WM: That’s all the questions do you have anything you'd like to add?

WYL: Yeah! There are a lot of kids I don't know yet, there's still plenty room in my club, and lots of fun to be had! So... join me! But erm... Shhhh, it's a secret.

WM: Thank you very much for your time, goodbye

The interview ended here as the young leader disappeared into an alley

Rheos, Swordsmith of the Hammer, producer of fine implements of mayhem can be found selling his goods at the fountain in the Plaza in central Hydlaa and at the markets across Yliakum.

The Khazadi Bookshop is an expanding business with an ever growing collection of fictional and informational books available, look for Dermathill in Hydlaa or at one Yliakum’s markets.

[OOC] Hi I hope this is the right place for this  :sweatdrop: I had the thought that a newspaper would work better on here than in game at the moment quite a long time ago but I only just got round to it. As you can see there isn't much content atm but I hope that it will increase in time as we get more jounalists.

Any coments and critisism is welcome to help me improve this.

[I like it. A quick suggestion: start an OOC thread with instructions for submissions and comments and you can allow other players to submit event news of their own via PM. That will keep this thread as IC only.]
