Altough I'd like to rectify that it is not like it's
maybe not in the way you envisage right now
because is the exactly way I see that
Just like I said before it's the essence of the idea to make a difference in effects of magic due to other plane (however at the beginning it wasn't so clearly precised
And all from all your opinions I see that I'm not the only one that thinks so

All spells and glyphs would still work in the Death Realm, they would just have completely different effects. Do some quests and you'll see many references to "the laws of magic being different in the Death Realm".
It's the essence of this subject I think.
Also Earl_Listbard has a point here saying that
if you cast a healing spell on an undead type of enemy, it does serious damage
It would be useful for fighting with grendols for example.
By the way it would be funny seeing how healer would turn out to be dr killer
