Bug Near Magic Shop

I posted this in the bug tracker and tried all of the solutions given to me there, but none have worked. Two days ago I was walking to the magic shop and I hit the "loading" area in the forest. The game shut down on me (p.s client quit unexpectedly) and now I can't play. Every time I try to open the game it begins to load and then quits on me, or just freezes. Is there anyway a G.M could help me with this... I reeallly don't want to lose my character.

Oh thank god, I'm not the only one with this problem!   I thought I was crazy!

. . . Um, I mean, sorry that's happening to you!   I've been playing an alt, since the magicshop map, bd1 map, and arena map all make my client shut down.  My report on it is here.

Yeah I'm relieved to know I'm not the only one with this problem, I just hope it can be fixed.... I don't want to lose Tenwyn (my character).

For now, try to avoid the magic shop until the bug is fixed.

If you are stuck there, go to #planeshift-gmtalk on IRC or file a petition with an alt to request that a GM move you out of the map.

If you are hit by this bug please try to turn "Vertex Buffer" Off in PSsetup application. It seems to fix most people.

The problem has been fixed. You can now run the updater to get missing files.
