.Dll problem...
« on: April 14, 2003, 11:54:24 pm »
Ok, I first played PS yesterday, with an earlier build...then I noticed today that there is a new build out(The newest one). So I went to open the Updater...but it gave me a .dll error! \"Ok\" I thought, so I\'ll just download that .dll file and then it\'ll be ok. So I tried several of the same file, but none worked! Then I decided to cut my loses and download the new files to install from stratch.

So now it\'s been downloaded and installed, I go to play the game...but the same error comes up, only now I can\'t paly the game because of it! ;(

Anyways, I\'ve downloaded and reinstalled the game atleast ten times. Trying different things, like manually uninstalling it...searching for all the files associated with it...everything.

I get two errors that pop up at the same time...here they are:

1.  C:\\Program Files\\PlaneShift\\psclient.exe
A device attached to the system is not functioning.

2.  The MSVCP70.DLL file is
linked to the missing export MSVCR70.DLL:__iob_func

I\'ve downloaded both the MSVCR70.DLL and MSVCP70.DLL

PLEASE HELP ME ;( !

MSVCP70.DLL comes with a whole package, did you download it from Microsoft pages?
