well i think everything is working but im not sure i have this...

PlaneShift Updater Version 5 for macosx.

Checking for updates:
Checking for updates to the updater: No updates needed!
Checking for updates to all files: Updates Available!

Downloading update file..
0%


its been sitting at 0% for about 20 minutes and i read in chaos's post that "your in for a very long wait" but im not sure if it should still be at 0% after this long...
i launched it through terminal aswell ive downloaded all the files suggested on all the threads and put them all in the right spots.
Cha0s's edit: Feel free to complain about how sucky Planeshift is somewhere else. This is a technical forum and rudeness and bashing will not be tolerated. The inappropriate/irrelevant content in your post has been removed.

EDIT: i just checked the force quit thign and it says psupdater_static (not responding)

rude people dont deserve a reply, but a 32 mb graphics card is not enough to play ps so that is one of your issues. also the old .4.00 client will not connect to the server. so you are left with trying to find out why the current client is not working and you have not told us much to help.

I would recommend force quitting and trying it again.

sorry for the language but anyway ive tried it lots of times not working so im downloading 0.4.00 now and going to use that update to get it working hopefully...
and i was complaining how sucky planeshift is im just saying how poorly its been presented for mac users and also ive noticed even windows is having troubles...

Mini, if you would read the posts carefully you would run into much less problems than you think there are.

Downloading v 0,400 will NOT help you much - it will not connect to the server. You MUST get v 0,401 in order to play.

And remember - you are dealing with a Alpha Version - and its free. Try to appreciate others effords a little more!  :)

no but at least 0.4.00 works slightly and u can update from 0.4.00 to 0.4.01 alot smoother than installin 0.4.01 and trying to get that working...

"1) If you're still running 0.4.00 or you have the 0.4.00 installer, you should be able to update from 0.4.00 to 0.4.01 with no problems."
