getting stuck with the healing salve quest

Hi,

First of all, I'm not trying to ask for spoiler here. I just get stuck at something, and I need to make sure it's not a bug of the NPC.

So the quest is to find a vial of healing salve for a guy. I found the right one to ask, then here's the conversation:

 "Greetings, Sir. I do indeed have some freshly made healing salve. It will cost you one hundred tria."

I see this enough, ususally Ingame, to wonder what the NPC could say?

When you go to starbucks, the store, or whatever, and they tell you what you owe, do you sit there and keep saying you really want the item, or do you pay for it?

I must be misunderstanding something.  Maybe people are trying to negotiate the price down? 

Me: I want a hamburger.
Clerk: that will be 2 dollars and 43 cents.
Me: /give clerk 2 dollars and 43 cents.  (note, actually give, donot just pretend to give!)
Clerk: here you go.
Bamko has recieved a hamburger.

Right, thanks for the hints I'll go there and try again.

Also I won't post the log anywhere in the forum again. Sorry for not knowing that rule
