updater process has 'forked' when trying to get to 4.02

I'm trying to update to 4.02 but can't.  I'm running on a mbp c2d 2.2ghz leopdard 10.5.4

this is the message I get when I open my updater in the terminal.

i saw this as well, but by running the updater again i have not seen this again, if it does happen again after the second update then i will report a bug on it.

The problem has reoccured several,  But I just googled 'process has forked' and found out that by clearing the contents of my library/startupitems helped so I tried that.   Updater works fine now.  I probably should have done that before posting here..

If clear means erased what's inside Library/startupitems , i tryed this and it dosen't help at all.I still see the same thing "process has forked".

ok i guess i can't play 'till the next client but it's ok i think i'll go run in a flower field , all this in slow motion and  this beautiful girl like in a dream wearing a light dress with her golden hair dancing in the wind , smiling at me with the face of a pure angel.I think she,s close to me but we're still running , the sun is rising without any clouds in the sky.We are closer now , i can smell her tasty skin, i can almost fell her lips on mine .The time has stoped, no one is around, only us .

Incidentally I also noticed that a when I updated I saw two updaters in my planeshift folder which I never noticed before.  I deleted one of them and the update worked.. so I'm not sure if that is what fixed it or the fact that i cleared the startupitems.

i think only god knows at this point cause anyway i was unable to run the last updater though i was running half of it .....anyway it,s a good time for a break....maybe version 13 will be good for me.....just kidding

i tryed to updated it again and now my client is 0.4.02  i hope it will not crash at the start like the last update.For now the server is down so i'm unable to check.I tryed couple of other games by the time and i have to say that planeshift is the best free online mmorpg so far.I hope it's gonna work.
