Ps Client wont load"failed to load effects"

I really would appreciate help. I was in tutorial island, at the last bit of it. Xargon was asking me if I would play nice, jokingly I said "no" twice .
Then the server crashed , and when i try to reload the server/client. It says"Failed to load effects". Now I would appreciate it if someone could tell me a fix to this problem. Unless I got BANNED for joking, which would stink because I think I might really enjoy this game. I am NOT a MEAN nor EVIL person. I really was joking if thats the problem, then could someone tell me the appropriate measures to take?
 
 Also my pc is up to date, on EVERYTHING down to the Bios, and my computer can even handle Today's Top Rated GAMES. (with a few exceptions).

i doubt that an npc could ban you for jocking
it's more possible your data got corrupt or there are other problems with it. try updating the game, if it doesn't work use try running it with the CheckIntegrity command (add it after the updater normal command line and be careful that it's case sensitive)
