Say Hi to the Noob! :D

Well, hello to you all!!   

My name is Ataxia, but you can call me Ata. I've been registered in the forums for a while, but I finally got the courage to download the game in my mom's computer secretly, bwuahahahah! (She won't mind though )

Well, as I said in the title, I am (or will be since the game hasn't even downloaded) a noob! But mind you, I am not new to Roleplaying! I've been roleplaying (literate/advanced rp) for years, and I am so excited to find a game that isn't just "Kill the monster, level up, next quest, level up. Die. Revive, kill the monster." (No offense to WoW players, but yes I am talking specifically about WoW/Guild Wards/Ect etc). I've been looking for an RPing game for a -while- and FINALLY I think I found the one!

I just have a few questions;

1. Everything I type in the chatbox (if there is one >_>) is IC?
2. Does this game use braktes () {} [] as OOC speech?
3. What kind of RP can I find in the game? Relaxed (three liners) Mid-Lit (One paragraph) Advanced (Multi-Para)?

1. Yes, there's a chatbox. Yes, everything you type is IC in the "Main" tab. As for the rest, you decide.
2. The game uses brackets []'s.
3. I'd say you'll find mostly relaxed/mid-lit RP in the game. Depends on how epic your RP is.

Yes everything is ic except what is put in []... But I must warn you, the server is acting 'interestingly' lately, expect plenty of lag and crashed, you will likely have trouble with the updater, info on that is in the technical help BEFORE entering game, if you need a direct link... well what the hell.

Edit: as a side note if you already don't know the game is in its beta stages so expect a lot more to be implemented and be featured in planeshift in the near and distant future.

Well, I guess I should actually say "hi" though you seem to be a newb, not a noob. 

THe RP I like best is not the epic stories in someone's description, or monologues, but rather then rp'ed conversations.  Itis nice to realize that I am playing Bamko as Bamko, and get lost in it for a while.  But I think you will find varying degrees of "epic-ness".  Something for everyone.
