I have seen the userbar's for all kinds of things including worshiping some devs.
As cool as those are, I think Planeshift needs more options.
What I will do is ask that the community work on some versions and post them here.
Afterward, I will gather them up and make a poll to see which the community likes best.
I hope something as dynamic and eye catching as the one for mac osx or other commercial products can be made.
