A question about shieldmaking

I studied the content of the arts files and found many shields which i not met ingame. Are they some types no to be able to craft or are they for craftable ones just not "activated" or so?

Just a quick note to anyone who may be looking at this thread.  At least as far as the last time I was crafting Shields, all of the crafted ones LOOKED identical.  An Iron Buckler, a bronze small shield and a steel shield all looked the same, and had no ingame difference...  I assume it has not changed...?

if you want it changed i would post a bug report on the tracker and a dev will look into it as soon as they can, include if the inventory icons look all the same as well.
