heck, if we were like a regular games forums, I'd have made fun of you for never posting any of your topics in the right forum section and never actually responded to anything you wanted to discuss.

I just assumed i could post this in forum and website discussions because thats what this would be...

EDIT   But I guess I will just skip the ones I dont want to read, Since there is no way I will win this battle!
Thanks for your time...

Actually, the 6+ threads you've made ove the past couple of days you've originally started them all in the hydlaa plaza off topic not related to the game discussion area when in fact most of them were about the game and as such were moved to the appropriate general game discussion area, and this thread moved to this section.  The mod team does more forum clean up than you think.

I agree many people go off topic.  Some of it is as neko explained I think (evolving discussions) that are just "walking away" from where the original poster probably wanted to go with the discussion.  Since this is a public forum, that happens.

Some of it may be trolls trolling, snarks snarking or even emos emoting.   >o)

but it happens, and it probably will not change and it happens only to the extent that it is allowed to, no more.

Either way, i would not let it "urk" you to death.  maybe "something that I was just thinking that's annoying" but urk to death?

Do I disagree it can be frustrating?  Nope.

Do I think it will stop? nope.

Do i think it is something we can live with?  yeah.

I hope this helps somehow.

We try our best to guide discussions along if they start going astray, and closing them if they get out of hand or redundant, but we also try to be fair and open minded. The last thing we need is a rigid police force removing anything that doesn't relate directly to the topic. I'm not saying thats what you're suggesting, I'm just making a point.

Neko is right, discussions evolve. It's not that people have short attention spans, it's that people are people, complete with free will and freedom of expression. If however you come across a thread that you feel is headed into the ridiculously off topic zone, please send us a report, that is what the report button is there for after all.

Thanks for you input madoring.

We also have to remember English is not everyone's first language and some have a hard time understanding. This could make us go off topic also. Patience and curtsy are key.
