Quest: Reffitia thamal "apprenticeship test"

she wants me to cut up somthing of my choice.
i choosed the meat, and cut it.
after every step i tried to give it to her, now its diced and she wont take it
i tried to talk to her very much but she won't react, Does someone have a tip for me how to go on?

Are you sure the meat isn't supposed to be cooked in some way first?

I never did that quest, so i can speak a little more freely perhaps, without violating the spoiler rule?

First, Bamko would tell his "owner" to check the chat logs, verify EXACTLY what was said.  it is very common to get a quest, think you know what you need to do, take notes on that in quest log, and thus be stuck.  Chat logs should help you out greatly for that. 

If that didn't work, Bamko might ask a few people Ingame IC.. "pardon me, Reffitia asked me to cut this meat up for her, but now she seems annoyed and won't even tell me what I am doing wrong... perchance you can see what I am doing wrong?"

then, if chatlogs and IC help does not work, I would contact a GM, I believe Rizin still handles fixing quest issues, but we should always try to make a good faith effort to remedy it ourselves BEFORE we contact her, IMO.  (She is really helpful, but I shudder to think how many spam requests for help she must recieve.... but if quest log tells you that you are doing exactly wha is asked, I guess it is appropriate then...

well thanks... might be possible that she wants me to cook a meal... its a bit unclear what she said... she said i shall cut it; and that she wants the final produkt - whatever is meant by that...
well as long as i dont have to say somthing to her, to complete the quest i will go on trying my best

well, no mention of chat log, I must assume you read that and you mean even while looking at it with fresh eyes it is unclear.  Did you read the chat log then?

I sometimes wonder if people bother reading replies more than 12 words.

If she asked you to cut meat and would not take the cut meat, then I would contact Rizin.

You saw me mention that as well?  good, good.  If the quest is broken, it is better to try to get it repaired than just find a workaround (if, for example she would take iron ore ibut not cut meat, better to fix it than to just keep having a secret workaround, IMO [and no, I am not saying she takes iron ore, it is hypothetical example])

I just grabbed this quest last night, and while trying to avoid spoilers, I can confirm that she does not appear to give very specific instructions.  I am reading the log of exactly what she said.  However, reading the log, I have an idea of what the problem may be.  I'll send a PM with a possible hint (a guess at a hint really since I haven't finished it) rather that posting publicly a possible spoiler.

The quest is quiet clear on what it wants you to do with the meat. Re-read your log as Bamko suggested. Also check that when she replies to you "You have improved...." the quest is done. My suspicion is that  during your attempt at each stage of cutting the meat and giving it to her you completed the quest and now she does not want the meat. Just check in your ingame Quests and Events Notebook that the quest is still listed in the uncompleted section. If you have any problems feel free to contact myself of Rizin with a pm.

@bamko , yes i read the chat log ; but i didnt want to post it here...

@Valerion i tried to give it to her, but everytime it said trade declined ( i tried to give the meat pieces seperatly, and all togerther) she did't reply something as far as I know, but will check later again.

well as server is down, i tried on expusa (new character has lvl 14 cooking skill ) and tried with punger tubers - no problem with solving quest, it only needed to be sliced.
might be different with meat - or its just the cooking skill... or both

also was able to do on fragnetics with meat finaly; dont know what went wrong the first time- meat only needs to be cut once, as she says (i guess i tried to give 2 meat chunks, only one is needed though; 1 meat -> 2 meat chunks)

She wouldn't accept a meat chunk for me either.  I assume skill is the issue.

First time I tried the quest with meat I couldn't get it done. I d redid it with pungent tuber and it worked fine.

I have completed this quest. I did it first with pepper, which she told you how she wanted it cut. She accepted the item, but the quest did not complete due to not enough skill in my product. I tried later when skill was higher, and did the meat. When she gave me the pepper, she did indeed give instruction on how to cut it, however on the meat she gave no instruction. I tried cooking it thinking "well who wants raw meat". Well, she wouldn't take it after cooking, cutting, etc etc. I had to buy more meat from Kada El's and take back to retry. This time no cooking, just tried various cutting and approaching her with product at each stage, at the stage she wanted (once again, that she never revealed) she accepted the raw cut product, and skill was high enough to finish quest (Thank Laanx). My suggestion, cut peppers  for her, maybe she is a vegitarian.
