To get back on topic:
What were the rewards?
Were there any unique staffs or weapons among them?

So if you don't need a GuildHouse, why didn't you run the event outside?
I said it once in IRC, I can say it again, but it won't make any difference because you won't read it again:
You should learn to read other posts before saying anything.
Events like this were done before without the need of any Guildhouse.

So again:
This event was done completely without the help of GMs or Devs. All the planning, organisation and realisation was done only by players. They did it voluntary for the entertainment of themselves and other players.

And sorry Orgonwukh, of course we had masses of unique items to give out. But you know how it works, during a event you can get slightly stressed and then forget some minor things. So sorry to all who came, we forgot again to give out the rewards for the audience. ;)

So if you don't need a GuildHouse, why didn't you run the event outside? THEN you could say you had no GM/Dev help whatsoever, because at the end of the day, by giving you that house, they DID help that event be a possibility. You can't run a vaudeville/theatre/gallery professionally without the special items and location given to you by the GM/devteam.

It's one thing to say "I'm thankful to all the players who helped" it's another thing to make claims in bright red writing on who DIDN'T help, especially when that claim is only your opinion, and you've forgotten recent history.

You're missing the point. At the end of the day after all the work and effort that goes into organizing these events, it is a bit insulting to have people say "Oh what a great GM event" and not "Oh what a great PLAYER event". They are merely trying to distinguish the fact that though yes, the RCO was originally assisted by the GMs (permanently placing items, guildhouse etc.), the events are 100% player run.

Intentionally missing the point. But I would guess trying to talk to a brick isn't really going to be very productive... unless somebody carves ears in there. ;)
I'm done with it, before I feel the need of hitting my head against it. And I have a very hard head...

Sure, I gave away the Staff of Lynching and you can tell it works just reading this thread. \o/

As Rennaj, yes I did a few, most pleasing to me was the Xmas, as I set it up and ran it all on my own. A very kind dev supplied me with the rewards, but placing all the bags with carrots in was down to me, with 5 minutes to go , I got a tells saying I have picked up over 50 bags with carrots in, mad dash to get them and replace, again all on my own so you the players had something special for Xmas. But I still fail to see why you have to brand every one in GM/Dev with this stupid red post, you say you have a beef with one, take it up with that one, and leave the rest alone to like you should be, enjoying game and the warm feeling of getting a good response to your [and others] hard work in what you did.

Hehe I took part in that event. ;)
But you misunderstood when i said "I disgree with somebody". Not that I have a beef with one of them, but simply disagree on how certain things are done and the reasons that drive to them being done in such way. Something I won't get into since, as you see, even referring to it causes mayhem.

Congratulations on running an event with no GM/Dev help you've joined the ranks of all the other guilds that have done the same.
