I can't create a character.

Hi everybody.

I have installed and updated planeshift successfully on my debian etch, i enter the game, my account and password, but in the character screen, it don't let me create a new one (so i have no character to play), and i have a Waiting for server data all the time in the top of the screen.

The error log, just throw this:

that has nothing to do with the issue at hand. what are your system stats and how do you connect to the internet?

Exactly the same problem here although my error log says:

I have 2Ghz Ubuntu, 100MB Internet hardline, nat router open on 7777 (both) and should have a good enough ATI 2300 i think, its PCIe at least   (all GLX / fglrx acceleration is working).
I have also tried connecting bareback bypassing router and is the same.

It just says waiting for server data.
