EXCEPTION_INT_DIVIDE_BY_ZERO at 69162BFD
« on: May 26, 2009, 06:43:12 am »
Game was ok, until I went with a guide to mine tin and it crashed along the journey (on a grass and rock based terrain).
Popup said:
Something unexpected happened in Planeshift: Steel Blue
Details: EXCEPTION_INT_DIVIDE_BY_ZERO at 69162BFD
Now I cannot get pass the loading stage without the crash.
Running the game again after a crash causes computer to reboot itself.
Does not help that my settings are now set to minimal: 800x600 windowed, 15bit, disabled sound, 100% font scale, vertex buffer off, stencil 50, unchecked load all maps and keep maps loaded and preload models, multisampling 0, anisotropy 1.0, unchecked multisample for quality, texture downsampling 1/16 and I am using updated Planeshift steel blue, ATI Radeon 9600 and XP SP3. Please help and I have the diagnostic file if needed.

Hello

Getting your char moved to another map by a gm might help. (Best way to contact one is via irc - e.g. planeshift.it/chat.html)

Installing the latest Catalyst fixed it. Now works even with vertex buffer object on. Thanks to the people at #planeshift-gmtalk.
