seem to be having the same problem as tensiu
last line from dmesg   [ 5315.129818] pssetup.bin[24024]: segfault at 187d ip 084a9e4e sp bffb28d0 error 4 in pssetup.bin[8048000+4f1000]

cant seem to find an error log in usr/share/planeshift

running on Ubuntu  Jaunty

Does it output something on the console before segfaulting?
