Linux install problem
« on: April 30, 2003, 06:05:32 am »
After #./pssetup I get som errors loading libXxf86wm.so.1, crystalspace.window.x, and crystalspace.graphics2d.x2d

I installed some crystalspace packages from Debian Testing, but it did not help.

?(

Try to compile PS by yourself from this automated source package. Contact me on IRC or by mail if any problem occurs (read the README.txt)

The \'#sh build.sh\' stops with:
blablabvlas
......skipped soft3d.so for lack of libcsutil.a...
csConfigGen cs-config
Chmod1 cs-config
...failed updateing 1 target(s)...
...skipped 109 target(s)...
updated 473 target(s)...

I have installed a lot of packages to make it to this point, cant find any more CS related packages (as something providing libcsutil.a) in Debian Testing (have this mechanical aproach, \"try everything\":)). Guess I need some sleep before I move to Debian Unstable or IRC or something
(a list of dependencies in the README.txt would be very helpfull))

Oki for the dependencies list.

I helped someone to build PS on Debian Testing last night on IRC. It seems to work for him now... So if you want, come in IRC...  :)

Ah Gentoo.. this si the good choice.

There should not be any problem with it since it\'s on that one I am testing everything.

Hi

The planeshift ebuild didnt just Work.

Somthing with cs-config, PREFIX, and paths. If there is message log somewhere I can copy the hole message(if not I can write the exact message), if someone is interested.
