Lost e-mail and password... :-[

I'm sure there is nothing that can be done here, but I've forgotten my password from my account and the e-mail address I used has been closed out due to inactivity.  I hadn't accessed it for about 5 years.  I don't suppose there is any way to recover my lost characters is there?  Any ideas?

Seems a lot of people are saying this recently.  Back in Christmas 2004 there was an account wipe right before Crystal Blue came out.  There was also an account migration period where players had an opportunity to migrate their Molecular Blue account.  If you didn't do that then it's gone for good and you'll have to remake it.

I went through the migration and played for awhile during Crystal Blue.  The problem is that the e-mail account I used no longer is active.  When I was playing before the switch over to Steel Blue my client remembered my password so I thought nothing of whether or not it was active.  The same thing happened on the forums (My old username was Jakob back in the day), but it's much more depressing to lose characters and character names.
