Btw no wonder PS is so small no quick tria for noobs...
How to gain cold hard cash (the fastest way):1. When creating your character, spend 50 skill points on Resist Magic, 49 on Magery or Healing, and 1 point on whatever skill you want the corresponding newbie item for. For example, if you want the newbied shepherd's crook, spend it on Animal Taming. Spend your stats on Dexterity first, then Strength.
2. Take your character to the Skara Brae cotton fields and farm enough cotton to make 10,000 bandages. After using the loom, you will need to buy a pair of scissors to cut the cloth.
3. Travel to Jhelom and buy three or four weapons. Go to the fighter guild and hire one of the fighters there for a few hours. Order him to follow you and go to a safe place where no one will find you. Order him to attack you, and then order him to stop as soon as you start attacking him; if done right this will make it so you can attack him without getting flagged as criminal and without him fighting you back, so the fighter will just stand there and take hits from you. Use bandages on him and set up a macro to heal him every ten seconds so that he doesn't die, and leave your client running overnight. By the time you wake up, you should be a grandmaster in Anatomy, Healing, Tactics, and the skill associated with whatever weapon you chose.
4. Travel to Minoc and buy three or four lutes. Take your character to a safe area where no one will find you and macro Peacemaking overnight.
5. Go to the Desert of Compassion halfway between Britain and Minoc and kill antlions. Antlions usually drop 200 gold; set up a tent in this area and create a macro that drops all of your gold in your tent's container every time you walk inside it. This is crucial because murderers usually run around this area. Use Peacemaking on antlions to get them to stop fighting you while you are killing them. A few days of doing this should get you enough to buy a two-story villa.
In other words, making tons and tons of tria shouldn't be as simple as "grab your pick and double-click".
