I would like the characters and their clothes to be able to get dirty. Grime can add depth to a character, it can show a lot social class and lifestyle.It adds atmosphere.
Also.
It would be great if there was a way to synchronise character movements together, so they could do simple dances, even folk dances, with the occasional magic spell thrown in for effect. This could be very spectacular on special celebrations or other important meetings. Dancing makes people more aware of the space they are in and their capacity to relate to it.

The permanent look of being filth-covered is possible and practical. However, having it change by traveling, washing and cleaning one's self is entirely different and most likely out of reach right now.

Dancing emotes are coming.

Yes, those effects will probably require much animation and whatnot as well as many factors to put in. They'll come soon(tm)
