Constant crashing

This is getting too repetitive. I play for about 3 minutes then I crash. Sometimes I don't even get to move and I crash. Is there something I can do so it stops crashing so much?

Did you already add "ThreadManager.AlwaysRunNow = true" to your planeshift.cfg?

Yes if you do what peeg said, the crashing should stop.

If you're on a mac open planeshift.cfg in the Textedit program and write what peeg said at the bottom. Save it, then try again.

Okay :)

Go find the file "planeshift.cfg". Where it is depends on your operating system.

Windows: In the user home directory, usually in "Document and Setting\Username\Application Data\PlaneShift
Linux: ~/.PlaneShift
MacOS X: ~/Library/Application Support/PlaneShift

Open planeshift.cfg in a simple text editor (notepad, wordpad, ...) and add "ThreadManager.AlwaysRunNow = true" to the bottom of the file. Save and Exit.
That's it.

I have psclient.cfg and pslaunch.cfg but I don't see a planeshift.cfg. And I can't open either one.

You're looking in the wrong directory :) Check the directories I've quoted or simply use the search funktion of your operating system.
As noted you can open any .cfg with a simpe text editor.

Another tip: Turn off VBO (Vertex Buffer Objects) in pslaunch. Some people reported that it helps to avoid crashes, too.

I have heardVBO has been causing crashes but I can never find that option so I left it on. And I'm using windows. I even looked up cfg. on search and only got those two options though. (And many helps and few from other sites)

Lol I actually just realized I stuck that thread in the wrong .cfg. I stuck it in psclient.cfg but it still fixed my problems...

Weird.

Possibly it works in both configs? :) Not sure ...

@Falcon:
Add the line to psclient.cfg and see if that helps any.
To disable VBO: Start the planeshift launcher. Click "settings" (bottom center). Click "graphics" (top left). Uncheck "Enable VBO". Hit "Ok".
