Does anyone here Hypermile ?

What is hypermiling ? I like to think of it as a sport. Basically its about changing the way you drive your car or vehicle in order to use fuel more efficiently.
A 15 percent improvement in mpg is not that hard to accomplish by applying some very simple techniques.

For example, avoiding stop sighs and traffic lights, taking your foot off the gas well in advance of a full stop, coasting in neutral, driving a little slower, or simply allowing more space between you and the next car so that your not doing the gas-brake mambo.

There are other sites aside from the one I linked above ( like hypermiler.co.uk and ecomodder.com ) but I think cleanmpg.com has better info and a solid community.

Yes. I suppose we must have a word for it. You don't have to actually jam the pedal down every time, that just burns gas. That is crazy there are sites devoted to this. I have pretty much always driven that way, being broke most of the time anyway.

I've been getting above 95 in all of my classes for the entire year, yet I've failed the written drivers test 6 times so far...I'm too smart to drive.

Amen to that.

attach a grapple launcher to the front of your car and shoot it at transport trucks, that way you can go hundreds of miles without using any gas at all! Of course if the trucker notices you will likely regret it.
