Models as effect emitters

How complex would it be to have specific models be an emitter of particle effects?

- Fire Carkarass: Flames of fire
- Poison Carkarass, Diseased Rat: Fumes of poison
- The Dark Wanderer: Clouds of darkness

I would love a cloud of darkness also  ;D


I have an ego so large it has it's own gravity. So in short, yes, everything does revolve around me.

depends on where the emitter should be?
if it's ok it's in a socket it could be done by equipping a nullmesh item to it and adding an item effect to that one resulting in only the effect being shown and the item being invisible

As long as the socket is not required to be placed in one of the hands, but could as well be e.g. in the chest somewhere, then the effect is probably able to emit "from the body".

Although "flaming wings" might look better for a Fire Carkarass... but I don't want to "ask for too much". Just what's easily possible to implement.

it would be better if the emitters was attached to the model than some hack requiring the server to send some phantomatic item
