Not enough details...

Is it a 32 bit or 64 bit Windows 7? Did you install the 32 bit or 64 bit PlaneShift package?

Do you have the latest (and hardware accellerated "ICD" OpenGL supporting) graphic drivers from the intel website installed, or only those shipped with Windows?

BTW: intel graphic solutions are not recommended anyway. ("G41 Express" is not even listed on TechARP...) -- You should use gaming hardware for playing games, not office hardware. ;)

The windows system popup "Application xx has stopped working." is one of the worst error messages ever invented by
software engineers, it provides almost no information  ;)

Post the errorlog.txt from the directory where you installed PlaneShift. Or start the game from a console and post the
messages.

Well its  64 bit and I installed 64 bit planeshift package.. ;)

2. I am 60% sure if I got the latest hardware, but it will be nice if you could send me the link of where to update my hardware.

3. I am not some sort of techy who knows which graphic card is better. All I kow is that It came with the computer and I have played many games with better graphics than Planeshift.

So please tell us how you did it. It might help the next one having a similar issue.

Might be that the CPU is capable of running a 64-bit operating system, technically...

But if there is no 64-bit Windows installed, then don't try to execute 64-bit software.

Fortunately, even if a 64-bit Windows is installed, it should still be compatible to execute 32-bit software.
