[Sorry if this story isn't that good, I'm not great at writing stories, but please bare with me]
Why does Vakachehk not drink Alcohol?
It t’was a blistering day in Ojaveda, no forgers were in sight due to a heat wave that had struck Ojaveda over the past week. The streets were empty, markets were put off, the whole town was totally empty.
Brado sat in his Tavern flapping a piece of paper to cool his face with, a group of Kore Finkylis of the Kore Irka Clan were in their drunk laughing. Along with a young Kore, Vakachehk who wasn't drinking as he was far to young too. Vakachehk was just sitting their under a table next to his uncle who was one of the Kore Finkyli, playing with a few metal finkyli and metal rogue toys, as his imagination took him into a day dream, he began thinking of himself being a great hero and everyone looked up to him, he was the Nekaduky’a of the Kore Irka Clan because ‘nobody liked Akaiddo’, who at that time was next in line for Nekaduky’a after their father, in his dream Vakachehk was tackling a group of rogues, their was a huge crowd that had gathered watching him slay these bunch of rogues that kept on coming further down the ally way.
Vakachehk woke from his day dream to a yell from Brado, Vakachehk didn’t scream but froze still as he saw rogues running in, slaughtering his uncle and the rest of the drunken Kore Finkylis, their bodies dropped to the ground near Vakachehk, with sliced throats, eyes missing, cut off arms and legs. Brado was still fretting and panicking as the rogues demand all of his tria, Brado didn't hesitate to hand it all over, and luckily the rogues left Brado alive and didn’t notice Vakachehk under the table.
Vakachehk being Vakachehk, got up, he of coursed asked Brado if he was all right, Brado replied: “Just go, go get your father, or some help, go... now kub!” Vakachehk ran home in the blistering heat, he was sweating as his fluffy fur was really needing a good cut. He came home to find his father sitting on his bamboo stool sharpening his finest sword, Vakachehk was too fatigued to speak, but was pampering, his father Agarik knew something was wrong he asked Vakachehk: “What’s wrong kub?” Vakachehk replied with a struggle “Bra-Brad-Brad-d-do” he finally got enough breath to say “Rogues attacked Brado's tavern” his father looked at Vakachehks mum (His wife) and turned grabbing his just sharpened sword and headed towards Brado’s.
Vakachehk walked straight passed his mother who looked really worried at Vakachehk asking him what happened. Vakachehk was in too much shock to talk, walking straight into his shared bedroom where Akaiddo was sitting on his hammock playing with his metal finkylis and metal rogues, Vakachehk lay down on his own hammock staring at the roof of the Ultic, going over, wondering why didn’t he grab a sword and go after them. As he said in his mind: "Maybe if I did that I could of became, just like in my dream...", “NO!” he yelled out loud, Akaiddo jumped looking at Vakachehk, wondering why on Yliakum he just yelled. Vakachehk not noticing he just said it out loud. Akaiddo said: “What’s wrong with you?” Vakachehk replied “I’m useless OK, you’re right I suck!” Vakachehk got up and slapped Akaiddos metal toys all over the ground, storming out of the Ultic, he ran to an alley way end, sitting there as he began to cry.
Agarik dealt with the rogues and got Brado’s tria back and of course revenge on the murders of his Kore Finkylis. Vakachehk’s mother followed Vakachehk slowly and thought she’d be best to leave him for sometime, an hour later she came back to cheer Vakachehk up. Agarik told Vakachehk, that he did all a kub could do, and that he was a hero for running home in the blistering heat.
Today Vakachehk still remembers that day very vividly, he had always promised himself to never get drunk or drink alcohol in any tavern.
