Not receiving e-mail for account creation

How long can one usually expect to wait for a validation e-mail to arrive? I told it to resend a few times over the past 20 minutes hoping it'd get the idea, but so far, nothing.

It used to take only a few minutes in the past. Have you checked your spam folder (if you have one)?.

And in the past there were always again problems with the registration...gmail accounts were said to work though.

Thanks for the quick reply! It turned out to be in my spam folder, so now I'm good! XD

I have been waiting for about 12 hrs. for my activation e-mail so I can create a password. I have tried to resend the new account registration but it tells me there is already an account associated with that e-mail. I use Gmail and there is nothing in my spam folder.

Have you deleted it by accident? might be worth checking your deleted folder.

No nothing in my deleted folder either.  I think there is a problem with the e-mail bot on the registration page.

You could always make a new email, link it to your old email and then reregistar again.
