Team Battles
« on: June 06, 2003, 07:32:22 am »
Here\'s my idea on how team battles go.

1 Person fighting is \"solo\"

2-4 People fighting is a \"team\"

5-9 People is a \"party\"

3 \"Parties\" would make an \"alliance\"

Each type of group should have its own battle music.
My name is NOT pronounced, \"Kway-per,\" it\'s pronounced \"Kye-per.\"

That could be something in the arena.. Going through this entrance means your on this team, going through that entrance means your on that team.

Great idea. I especially like the idea of alliances. That would be great to clean out huge dungeons. Mmm, I can almost hear the heroic music Kuiper proposed.

Music is more suited to environment, so I would imagine if it changed per terrain.

Now if the music got more intense with the more people had in a group, that would be great.

1 person: more of a jingle than music
2-4: Music with about 3 instruments, a little more upbeat
5-12: 5 instruments, enough to make a decent battle song
2 to 4 parties combined: Heroic music
5+ parties: Full onslaught warfare music

Ok, you\'re right music should change by the terrain you\'re in, and by the number of persons, parties... But think how much different songs we are gonna need. Of course, one area has 5 or 6 different songs which all look extremely alike (same samples etc...) but that would still make for an enormous task for the music department, and i don\'t think it\'s even realistic to think that we will be able to add so much music.

My doubts, though i really like the idea.
