the game crashed (linux)

hi!
i was trying to run the 010 binaries i downloaded under my mandrake 9.1 and all seemed to work ok while creating the character.
but when i tried to play, while te world was initializing, the game crashed. these are the las lines i found on the command line:

i\'ve got winXP also in this computer, but the game worked too slow, and i thought that maby the fps would be improved if i had instaled it on linux.

amd k7 athlon 706 mhz
256 sdram
gc: ati radeon 9000 128mb

as i see it (i could be wrong!) is that the file is wrongly decompressed or in any other way incomplete.

yes, PS\'s fps are better in linux (even more so if you install it from source!)

Hi. I just downloaded PS and I cannot connect to the server. It says i need to enter the server name which is : planeshift.fragnetics.com but how can i enter it if the server text box accepts only limited number of characters? i can only fit : planeshift.fragnetics before it stops taking any more characters. I tried entering IP but it didnt work, said server dropped my connection or something.
