So , it's a constructed language and is intended to be fairly easy to learn - at least for those who speak an Indo-European language already. The vocabulary is latinate and fairly small in comparison to other languages. The words are pronounced as spelled, and correlatives ( who, what, this, that, when, someone, everyone, nobody etc.. ) are fairly easy to predict as they have a formulaic sort of spelling. Words are modified with prefixes and suffixes to form other related words or to change their tense and verbs are all regular and have simple rules for conjugaton. The idea is that if the language is easy to learn the it can be used as a common language or lingua franca.
