The idea's been almost mentioned in other topics that I've read, and I couldn't find something similar in a search here or on Flyspray.

Certain emotes or the away message are persistent, temporary changes to the character which should be available sans any additional input from the player.
You can always change the character's description yourself, but why not have PS do that automatically?  Fewer steps to accomplish the same work.
As such, it also makes sense to make these optional effects.  If a player didn't like them, then they shouldn't be forced to work around them.

/awaycc [on] <message>
The ‘/away on’ or ‘/away’ would work the same as it always has, except that now the message would be prepended to both the CC and the OOC tabs of a character's description.  Additionally, making an ‘/awaycc’ command only modifies that line in — wait for it — the CC tab.
Inputting either ‘/away off’ or ‘/away’ would remove these messages when that mode is canceled.

/coma
* Can-ned Food suddenly drops to the floor.
* Can-ned Food does not respond to prodding or to speech.
et c.

/fetal
* Can-ned Food curls in a fetal position.
* Can-ned Food is tucked in a fetal position.
et c.

/invalid
* Can-ned Food falls to the floor, struggling helplessly.
* Can-ned Food lies helplessly on the floor.
et c. or so:  maybe multiple versions, with “writhing” or “twitching” flavors?

/prone
* Can-ned Food lies down and stretches out on the floor.
* Can-ned Food is lying down on the floor.
et c.

/sleep

/awake
(there would be no special message for this one:  it serves to redact the /sleep command)

Similarly, these would introduce a line prepended to the CC description.  Why, and why not simply let the player respond with a /me statement?  Well, they can always do that too.  Indeed, they should also be doing so.  The idea is to streamline detailed RP for the benefit of players.
Excepting /sleep, these would also require some scripting to pose the character, and thus they also would be automatically redacted if the PC assumes some other pose.  It makes sense that a PC could be walking around in a hypnotic trance, so you'd want that one to remain applied until /awake was called.

Let me know which of these emotes you think would be useful, or whether you'd like to change a call to some other noun.
