There are lots of great threads worth checking out and a lot of good ideas but everyone has to remember that some of the ideas even the giant software producents cant make or wont for a reason. So wouldnt it be a little to much to ask from the DEVs.
But here is some threads that i think is worth checking out:
Magic dialect
Custom books
race differences
crystals
Faction wars
And tons of other great posts

I also know some things that needs to be changed.
There has to be a lot more options: graphics (view distance) and alike to make the game run more smooth.
Also a mini map is needed.
Crouching should be enabled.
When chatting you shouldnt need to write /shout to chat with everyone.
All the windows should be cleared. Like u press I to open inventory and maybe C to open character sheet.
To chat you could type at any time instead of having to press the chat window.

i myself would add
-weapon enchanting
-magic tab auto-completion
-buttons for automatic shout/say/tell...
-animated sky
-/lay and /sit option
-...

Well simple Ctrl + button that should do as a hot key?

Better yet all commands should be preceed by a /

Or all chat could be preceed by a \' or another character.

they should make the chat interface like the one in AO... The best in any mmorpg I\'ve seen...

I think the devs will make the commands to shout and guildchat to a simple /s and /g and soforth with all the other different chat channels..
