Player Entity Can't be Created!

Alright guys, I know I\'m quite a fuss here..But I really do wish to get into the game. SO this\'s it.

Now that the server is up, when I start happily creating my character and then hit Upload, it brought me to the screen popup that says \"Your player entity cannot be created because your Player Object couldn\'t be created in the database\"

So can anyone help me out with this....OMG...Thanks!

We need more details.

What OS?  What type of character did you make? etc.

We don\'t have ESP you know. :)

Had same problem.

Tried to create several different characters, but regardless always get error \"your player entity could not be created because your player or object couldn\'y be created in the database\"

Can connect to server OK i think. Firewall etc set up fine.

P4, 512 gf4 etc... guess its a server problem though?

Any ideas?

Ok, I have this error too... I have a n good computer (2Ghz P4, Geforce 4 ti 4600, 512 mb ram, WinXP Home and so on) so I don\'t think this is the problem. But I have a firewall, but it\'s configured corectly...
Anyway, I start creating a character, an enkidukai, with custom configuring, and when I\'ve typed in name and password and press upload it shows the loading screen briefly adn gives the error message he stated before... I have tried using compatibility mode for Win98 and using the numeric ip adress too...
I have absolutly no idea what\'s going on here....

With this number of people experiencing this problem in such a short span of time, I guess it\'s most probably a server fault. Needless for me to name my OS, characters....But anyway, My OS, and details are roughly the same as Zhazazel, just that I DO NOT have a firewall.

Hmm...What might just be the problem?

Please I just downloaded PL and I do have all these same problems .
I can\'t figure it myself out (believe me I tried )
but could u anyway try to give me/us an Eta of when this will be solved?

I mean roughly so
hours?
days?
Weeks?
Months?

Type:  Ylian Male
Job: Fisherman
OS: Windows XP
CPU: Athlon 1500 XP
RAM: 768 DDR
Connection: Cable
Firewall: Enabled and properly configured.

This error seems to be happening to everyone who tries to create a new account since the server came back up, i just tested for myself and got the error too.

I\'m really keen to try this game but get the same problems as all the above.

Do we use planeshift.fragnetics.com or 203.81.47.27 as the server address, neither of them work but it would be nice to know which to use.

At this time, I\'m not sure if the problem is still valid. (Which I hope it doesn\'t)

Anyway, Bosh...Use the IP Address instead \'planeshift.fragnetics.com\'. It solved my LinkDead problem at least. Guess it resolves more complication.

So, does anyone have any update regarding the problem I first mentioned. I mean, if Skain is also getting the same problem, then I think it should be a general server fault. Any solutions?Anyone?
