Greetings! We just released a new website where you can help to voiceover our NPCs!
The current PlaneShift release allows the NPCs to speak using audio files, but we didn't use this much in Unreal also because we are lacking the actual voice overs for the NPCs. So I thought to create a website where the players can actually submit their voiceovers to be used in game!
Having players voiceover some NPCs will be fun, and will continue the legacy of our game of "being made by the community", which is something we like a lot. We considered AI generators, but the quality of the result is not yet where it should be, and in any case something created by the community is much more precious. You can access the website
here. You need to be registered to the game to login. You will find there some instructions and a list of all NPCs you can voiceover.
