I just found out that voice-recognition actually works in this game. Maybe it was unintentional but I?m using Dragon NaturallySpeaking and I just worked. When the Mike was turned on the frame rate decreased and the voice-recognition software slowed down but it did work.
I also downloaded the newest software for my video card. It makes a big difference. I recommend for whatever video card you have download the newest driver!
As I am walking around I see little mistakes. Some polygons not connected, barrels floating in space and things like that. For the early releases of this project it would be handy to have a feature that would allow one to record their camera position and submit a description of the problem.

Well of course it works, all its doing is converting speech to text, so if you just click the chat window and speak it should type for you. Hey, did you write that post using voice recognition, fish?

Surprisingly enough voice recognition isn?t just a substitute for keyboard. Ever quest doesn?t use it very well even though it?s supposed to support it. In order to use it effectively I would need a faster computer. These days I?m using voice recognition all the time. As you use it over time it gets better because it trains itself. Initially it doesn?t do a very good job at all but I figure if I keep with it the software should wind up being almost perfect. Right now I don?t have to correct it very much. And if you have a heavy accent it doesn?t care.
As far as which one I?m using read the first post again. This time carefully.

actually lost, not all games can use it as an input device. I knew someone who played AC one handed(accidental dismemberment) he kept griping because it doesn\'t support Dragon. also, SW:G isn\'t going to support it until they\'ve gotten around to it supposedly. they were so late doing everything else that they didn\'t get around to including it.

Johnny Depp\'s a poser to the throne. No one will ever play the part as well as Gene Wilder
